With some of the country’s most stunning scenery on its doorstep, Castleton is the perfect base from which to explore the Peak District. Set against the backdrop of Peveril Castle and Mam Tor, Castleton is one of the most picturesque villages in the National Park and has an abundance of activities to keep all ages entertained!
The Peaks is a traditional country inn, combining open log fires and cosy surroundings with high standards – we pride ourselves on providing our guests with fantastic service and quality produce. To the rear we have a large, sunny garden area - an ideal spot for dining, drinking or relaxing in the fresh Peak District air.
We stock a fantastic range of premium brand lagers and a choice of cask ales, along with a variety of fine wines and warming malt whiskies. As well as tasty bar treats such as cheese boards and farm shop pork pies, our kitchen is open throughout the day to serve up delicious meals and snacks, along with pots of tea, fresh coffee and tempting cakes! Wherever possible we aim to use locally sourced Derbyshire produce.
