Welcome to The Food Angel ! A modern 16 seater cafe/coffee shop and takeaway based in the glorious village of Castleton in the Peak District. The surrounding area made famous with the stunning scenery and unique country walks not to mention the numerous underground caverns that attract visitors all year round from the world over.

Here at The Food Angel we pride ourselves on the quality of food that we make fresh on site daily. The open plan design enables the customer to view throughout the kitchen area and to witness the magic being made. Flexibilty is top of our priorities as although we have a list of Food Angel favourites on our menu board you can make up your own lunch or snack just like a subway style restaurant. Sandwiches come freshly made on a choice of thick cut country white or thick cut granary supplied by a local bakers with other ingredients supplied by a local butcher and green grocer. Alternative bread or bread rolls are available especially for our welcome younger customers.

Our cream tea deals are a must for freshly made scone lovers not to mention all the other cakes and cake slices that are made fresh on site daily.
